My background: I grew up in Ohio and moved to DC for law school. I practiced labor & employment law for eight years before leaving law firm life behind to embark on a new adventure.
My style philosophy: Style need not be directly proportional to the amount of $$ you spend on clothes. It doesn’t matter how much it costs and/or whose name is on the label if you feel frumpy, can’t breathe, etc. Style is about identifying and putting together a wardrobe that makes you look and feel good.
My experience: I’ve worked as a Dresser at New York/Mercedes Benz Fashion Week for major labels and designers including: Zac Posen, Marchesa, Oscar de la Renta, Luca Luca, Badgley Mischka, L.A.M.B., Altuzarra, The Blonds, Rebecca Taylor, St. John’s, Pamela Roland, Vivienne Tam, Norman Ambrose, DKNY, Naeem Khan and Porter Grey and Salvatore Ferragamo’s 2012 Resort Collection.
Other stuff: I continue to practice law part time, but now split my time between law and the fashion world. In addition to fashion, styling and shopping, I love music, reading, baseball, and playing football with my team “The Untouchables” with ZogSportsDC , and spending time with friends and family.
