Like I mentioned yesterday, Kim and I went to a DewDrop clothing swap on Saturday. This time around, the theme was Glitter & Glam and there was a plenty of that to go around.

Both vendors and swappers showed up in force for a little pre-holiday shopping and socializing…and cupcakes and champagne
For those of you still unfamiliar with the concept of a clothing swap, it goes like this – You bring your fashionable, gently worn items (things you’d try to sell to a consignment shop), peruse the vendor tables while the swap is getting all set up, then get your swap on and pick out items that are new to you.
I cleaned out my closet while I was stuck inside with super storm Sandy. It made me incredibly happy to see clothes I really still like find new homes where they will continue to be loved. I picked up 2 purses, a belt, a pair of pants and a dress that I’m sure you will be seeing on future “Last Week on Emily” posts.
I will make sure to let you know when the next one is scheduled. For now, here are some pictures from the event.

The afternoon also included a fashion show featuring items from the vendors and the swap and these lovely bloggers – Meghan (District Sparkle), Waverly (Pich & Roor), Naja Diamond (From Combat Boots 2 Stilettos)
