So, apparently I’m turning into a bit of a fashion Francophile. It’s time to update my list of style muses again. Last time, I added Clemence Poesy (still at the top of the list-btw), and now, I’m adding two more French actresses to the roster – Delphine Chaneac and Lea Seydoux.
I hadn’t heard of Delphine Chaneac before she caught my eye in this at Cannes. She looks like she’s having so much fun! Of course, once I noticed her, I started seeing her everywhere. Though I’m guessing that’s mainly because I’ve been actively looking for her. Minimal pieces. Minimal accessories. Minimal fuss. I love how she makes chic look so simple!! I was going to give you an example or 2, but I couldn’t narrow it down, so you get 6.
I first saw Lea Seydoux in Mission Impossible: Ghost Protocol. She plays a bad-ass assassin who gets paid in diamonds and gets to wear this great coat.
And because I love them equally, again, you get six. (Though with the coat picture, I guess Lea’s getting 7. Sorry Delphine! I still love you. I really love your name. I’m thinking of naming my dog (or daughter) Delphine (if I ever get/have either) and I think that totally would make up for one less photo).
Ok, well I’m off to find a croissant, listen to La Vie En Rose and wish I was back in Paris. Anyone you’ve added to your style icon list lately??
