A big thank you to my blogging sister, Curvy CEO, for tagging/awarding/making me part of the Blog on Fire award! It’s kinda like a chain letter, only you don’t get any money or postcards or gifts and won’t face years of bad luck and misfortune if you don’t pass it along. Ok, so maybe it’s not like a chain letter, but more like a way for me to share a little about myself and introduce you to 11 bloggers I really enjoy and I think you will like too.
What is involved in all this:
1. I post 11 random things about myself.
2. I answer the questions my tagger, Curvy CEO, set for me in her post.
3. I create 11 new questions for the people I tag.
4. I tell them they’ve been tagged and hope they participate too.

Random Things About Me. . .
- My favorite song is Bitter Sweet Symphony.
- I played rugby in college.
- I am terrified of spiders…and robots.
- I REALLY wanted to be on Kids Incorporated and/or Fame as a kid.
- I pick seats over the wing in airplanes because that’s the part that always makes it through the crash in movies.
- I laugh when I’m scared or nervous.
- I went sky diving over the Gold Coast in Australia (I laughed a lot).
- This past summer I visited Panmunjom and stood with one foot in North Korea and one in South Korea.
- I desperately want to be friends with Phoebe Philo and Victoria Beckham.
- The first concert I ever went to was M.C. Hammer and Vanilla Ice.
- Someday I’m going to have a TV show on public access television with my dear friend Sarah Dylag Beznoska and Sophia Coppola will be our first guest. (The dream’s still alive, Sarah!)
- Name a dessert you don’t like – I don’t understand the question…. Well I guess that’s not true, I don’t really care for peaches so am not a big fan of peach pie, peach cobbler, stuff like that.
- How far back can you remember? Age 5? Age 3? – My earliest memory is when I was 2. I went with my Dad to one of those do-it-yourself car washes in our big ol’ van. I crawled around the car peaking out the windows and he’d spray water at the glass. I’d laugh and laugh and do it again. And Fleetwood Mac was on the radio.
- What is your favorite city in the world? – Man that is a tough one I think it is a tie between New York and Paris with Sydney being a close second.
- Do you feel like the best is yet to come? – Yes, definitely.
- Be honest: An eye for an eye or turn the other cheek? – I think I’m more of an eye for an eye girl.
- How many brothers and/or sisters do you have? – I have one brother and one sister.
- What is your favorite blog post you’ve done so far? – I think it was my first post because I was so excited to start Capital Style. It was extremely therapeutic to just get all my thoughts and worries and hopes out on the page, but of my real posts I’d say it’s “In the Simplest of Terms” posts that my post about my time at F.I.T.
- What are you most looking forward to in 2012? – In the immediate future, fashion week!! Overall, I just can’t wait to see what is next for Capital Style in general.
- You have an unexpected hour of free time. What do you do? – I’m trying to learn to sew, so that’s what I do these days.
- What is your favorite place to shop? – In new cities. I love finding new boutiques and shops. I don’t really have a single favorite store or location though.
- Do you like to cook? – Not really. I’m trying to learn so maybe that will help me like it more.
